Adding a Company Profile in HireBound

Overview

You can add a company profile in HigherBound in two ways:

  1. Manually, by filling out the company form.


  2. Using a LinkedIn URL (recommended), which automatically pulls in the company’s details such as name, logo, description, and website.


Additionally, if you prefer not to disclose your client’s actual company name, you can choose to use an alias instead.

Option 1: Add Company Using LinkedIn URL

  1. Open Company Section


    • From the dashboard, click on Company.


    • Select Add Company.


    • Choose Using LinkedIn URL.


  2. Enter LinkedIn URL


    • Open the LinkedIn company page of your client


    • Copy the URL and paste it into the field.


  3. Create Company Page


    • Click Create.


    • A company page will automatically be created with the logo, description, and other details imported from LinkedIn.


  4. Edit Company Page (if needed)


    • Locate the company you just created in the list.


    • Click on it to open and make edits to any details.


Option 2: Add Company Manually

  1. Select Manual Entry


    • From the Add Company screen, choose Manual Entry.


  2. Fill in Company Details


    • Enter the company name, type, and other required information.


    • Upload the logo and cover picture if available.


  3. Save


    • Click Create to finalize the company profile.


Using an Alias (Optional)

If you do not want to disclose your client’s real company name:

  1. While creating the company, set Use Alias = Yes.


  2. Replace the real company name with a generic alias (e.g., “Leading Digital Company”).


  3. Select the Company Type.


  4. Click Update to save.


Result

  • With LinkedIn URL: HigherBound automatically creates a polished company page with the imported logo, description, and website.


  • With Manual Entry: You can fully customize the company page by filling out the form.


With Alias: The company appears under the alias name while retaining all functional details.
